Indrani started learning ballet at
the age of four, before switching
to Kathak (a North Indian Classical dance form). She has had extensive training in both Kathak and contemporary Indian dance from several well known dance exponents, including Guru Teerath Ajmani, Saswati Sen, Kakali Shankar Mishra, Bashabi Fraser, Malabika Mitra and Guru Asim Bandhu Bhattacharya.

Indrani is a member of the Scottish Ballet Association, and recently appeared in the BBC2 TV series 'Scotland’s Empire'.
Her dance repertoire includes Kathak, traditional Indian and Bengali folk dance and Bollywood classics.
